Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 29, 2026

This policy explains what information is handled when you play Souls of Avelor (on Android, iOS and PC via Steam) and when you visit soulsofavelor.com. The short version: the game has no accounts, keeps your progress on your own device and does not collect personal data about you itself. The only exception is the optional rewarded ads in the Android version, which are served by Google (see Advertising below).

Who we are

Souls of Avelor is developed and published by LightWayGuy Games. For any privacy question or request, contact us at support@soulsofavelor.com.

Game progress

Your progress (gold, souls, items, settings and similar game state) is saved locally on your device. It is not sent to us and we have no access to it. You can erase it at any time with Settings → Delete Account in the game, or by uninstalling the game.

Internet time check

Idle progress depends on real time, so to prevent changes to the device clock the game reads the current time from public web servers (Google, Cloudflare or Apple). Like any web request, these servers receive your IP address and basic request information. The request contains no game data and no identifiers, and we do not receive or store anything from it.

Purchases

Optional in-game purchases are processed entirely by the store you use (Google Play, the Apple App Store or Steam) under their own privacy policies. We never receive your payment details. The store only confirms a completed purchase so the game can deliver the item.

Advertising (Android version)

The Android version can show optional rewarded video ads, served by Google AdMob. An ad plays only when you choose to watch one in exchange for an in-game reward, for example to double an offline reward. Owning Remove Ads grants these rewards without any ad. The PC version on Steam shows no ads.

To deliver ads, limit how often you see them and prevent fraud, Google may collect information such as your device's advertising ID, IP address, approximate location, device type and how you interact with the ads. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland the game asks for your consent through Google's consent message the first time you play, and you can change your choice at any time in Settings → About Avelor. Without consent, Google shows only non-personalized ads. You can also reset or delete the advertising ID in your device settings. Learn more in how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

Analytics and tracking

The game uses no analytics, crash reporting or tracking services of its own.

Contacting support

If you email us, we use your email address and the content of your message only to answer you, and we keep them only as long as needed to resolve your request.

Community

Our Discord server and the Steam Community hub are run by Discord and Valve. Anything you post there is covered by their own privacy policies.

Children

Souls of Avelor is not directed at children under 13. The game does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, and the ads are not personalized for users who do not consent. If you believe a child has sent us personal information (for example by email), contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you. Because the game stores your data only on your device, in practice this concerns emails you have sent us. Write to support@soulsofavelor.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when the game or website changes in a way that affects your privacy, and change the date at the top.
